Vala, Daniel/Vala Music Video

This was one of those videos that came to me by surprise, and just had to be vidded. Unlike my other spur of the moment vids though, this one turned into a real struggle to do. Vidders block set in at the half way point, and then the cancellation news killed what little drive I had left to finish it. Despite these setbacks though, it's finished. Just took a little longer than planned.

While I'm not a big Daniel fan, the whole notion of Daniel/Vala just makes the character so much more fun, and this in turn was a very fun video. Glad you managed to finish!

Now that is a good song for D/V, especially from Vala's POV. Great choice of clips. Nicely done. Gonna try and watch HOF now. :)

Great vid. While Linkin Park is a common choice amongst all, I really don't care cause THEY ROCK!! Absolutely loved the scene at 1:50 where in the song he's screaming and saying "you're gonna listen to me, like it or not" and Vala is just kicking Daniel's ass. Fun.

P.S. -- try to think of the cancellation news as a minor setback in the storyline of SG1. At least, that's what I'm doing; I'm just waiting for further news since the studio isn't abandoning ship just yet!

Wow...excellent vid. The song and lyrics are perfect, and the clips you've chosen go really really well with the song and the relationship.

Loved this! Definetly going in my favorites (you didn't put your name on the vid, so I'm going to have to write myself a little note so I don't forget you did it)! It had great flow, fantastic timing/scene changes to the beats. It was fast moving and never dragged. Excellent job!

Hmp I find myself without a Daniel/Vala icon...
Anyway back to the vid - loved the fast cutting, its really hard to do (well for me anyway) and it fit well with the song. Also yay-ness for Vala's POV, refreshing!

Yeah, fast cuts are a pain, esp. when if you're like me, you're still using WMM (can't find a better one I like yet).

Still, I felt compelled to do it, the world needs more D/V vids. LOL Glad you enjoyed it. :)
